The Barrett memorial is of light gray granite, and features Johnnie’s little funny squiggle drawings, his life’s motto…”Life is Beautiful” …and all in his handwriting.
Elder Barrett’s life was tragically taken while he served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With permission from the church, a copy of Elder Barrett’s missionary badge, etched in black granite, was inlayed into his monument.
