The Baker Memorial was placed in the Roy Cemetery by an ancestor of  William and Esther Baker.  The monument was designed in Ruby Red granite, and consists of two monument pieces, each about 6’ wide, on a 14’ granite base.

The taller monument is a tribute to the original Baker Family;  the first settlers of Roy.  It pays homage to the many pioneers, builders, farmers and entrepeneurs who  gave their all for their families and extended families, who would come generations later.

The second monument has a cutout for a large granite vase, and represents the current Baker ancestors and donor of this beautiful tribute, which will stand proudly  in Roy for many years  to come.
